Terms of Service
1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Feedbi ("Service"), operated by Kovacs Kornel e.v., a sole proprietor registered in Hungary ("we", "us", "our").

By registering for an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the Feedbi platform, including all features, widgets, APIs, and related services.
- "User" or "You" refers to the individual or entity that registers for and uses the Service.
- "End User" refers to individuals who interact with your feedback widgets or submit feedback through your projects.
- "Content" refers to all data, text, images, and other materials submitted through the Service.
- "Testimonial" refers to ratings, reviews, or feedback displayed publicly through our testimonial features.
- "Widget" refers to the embeddable feedback collection interface provided by the Service.
3. Service Description
Feedbi provides:
- Feedback collection widgets for bug reports, feature requests, and ratings
- Testimonial management and public display features
- Dashboard for organizing and analyzing feedback
- API access (available on paid plans)
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into this agreement
- Use only one account per person or legal entity
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Subscription Plans & Payment
We offer three subscription tiers:
- Free: Limited features at no cost
- Starter: $19/month (billed monthly) or $190/year
- Pro: $39/month (billed monthly) or $390/year
Payment processing is handled by Paddle, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, VAT/tax calculation, and currency conversion. Prices are displayed in USD; Paddle converts to your local currency at checkout.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with Feedbi within 14 days of your purchase, contact us at support@feedbi.app and we will process a full refund - no questions asked.
Upon refund:
- Your account will revert to the Free plan
- You retain access to your data
- Features exceeding Free plan limits will become unavailable
EU Withdrawal Right: If you are in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive. This right is fully honored.
7. User Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain full ownership of all testimonials, feedback, and other content you submit to the Service.
License to Feedbi: By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
End User Consent: You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from End Users before collecting and displaying their testimonials publicly.
Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Submit or display false, misleading, or fabricated testimonials
- Use the Service for spam, harassment, or illegal activities
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service
- Impersonate other individuals or entities
- Collect testimonials without proper disclosure when incentives are provided
If you offer incentives for testimonials (discounts, free products, etc.), you must clearly disclose this to comply with FTC guidelines and equivalent regulations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content or testimonials
- Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
By You: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with notice where practicable.
Data Export: Upon request before account deletion, we will provide an export of your data in a standard format.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Hungary.
EU Online Dispute Resolution: If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

Account Data:

- Processed entirely by Paddle (our payment processor)
- We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details
- We receive transaction IDs and subscription status from Paddle
Usage Data:
- IP address (anonymized for analytics)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and features used
Content Data:
- Testimonials and feedback submitted through your widgets
- Project configurations and settings

4. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained until account deletion, plus 30 days for backup recovery
- Payment records: 8 years (required by tax law)
- Testimonials: Until project or collection deletion by you
- Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
5. Data Sharing (Subprocessors)
We share data with the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Restriction: Request limited processing while disputes are resolved
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing
- Lodge complaint: File a complaint with your supervisory authority
For Hungary, the supervisory authority is NAIH (Nemzeti Adatvedelmi es Informacioszabadsag Hatosag) at naih.hu.
8. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@feedbi.app. We will respond within 30 days. We may request identity verification before processing your request.
9. Security Measures
We protect your data with:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Password hashing using bcrypt
- Role-based access controls
- Regular automated backups
- Secure hosting infrastructure
10. Children's Privacy
Feedbi is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
Refund Policy
Our Guarantee
We stand behind Feedbi with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with our Service within 14 days of your purchase, you can request a full refund - no questions asked.
How to Request a Refund
- Email us at support@feedbi.app
- Include your account email address
- We'll process your refund within 5-10 business days
Refunds are processed through Paddle to your original payment method.
After Your Refund
- Your subscription will be canceled
- Your account will revert to the Free plan
- All your data remains intact and accessible
- Features beyond Free plan limits will become unavailable
EU Consumer Rights
If you are located in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of subscription, without giving any reason. Our money-back guarantee fully honors this requirement.
Testimonial Author Rights
If you submitted feedback or a testimonial through a Feedbi widget and wish to have it removed, you have two options:
- Contact the project owner (the business that collected your feedback) directly
- Email us at support@feedbi.app with details about your submission, and we will assist in the removal process
